A: The best way, for most of us, is to first get the music down. By playing it frequently, with and without a recording, it kind of just sticks with you the way lyrics from a popular song does. -Angel Vermiglio (sophomore; 2014)

A: Although band camp is quite expensive, it is well worth it. Everyone has a good time as long as you don't goof off when you aren't supposed to. Plus, you may not get an opportunity like band camp again, so at least trying it out is a good idea. -Chase Burdick (sophomore; 2014)
Q: "What is the difference between symphonic band (lower band) and wind ensemble (upper band)?"
A: In symphonic band, they focus more on the basics of music and play easier music. In wind ensemble you focus on more difficult aspects of playing and play more difficult music. -Olivia Eldred (sophomore; 2014)
